Awards for These Are Not Gentle People and Blood Lands

These Are Not Gentle People recently won South Africa’s top literary non-fiction prize, the Sunday Times Alan Paton award, for the combined pandemic-years of 2020 and 2021. The BBC radio series adaptation of the story, Blood Lands, won Europe’s top radio award, the Prix Europa.
